I am writing this blog having just heard Allegri's Misere sung by the choir of King's College Cambridge. In Ev's opinion and mine it is one of those outstanding pieces of music. Thanks to BBC Radio 2 for that.
I should also acknowledge the fact that in Canada it is Thanksgiving Weekend. All the best to readers from that part of the world. We had the fortune on two separate occasions to be in Canada at this time. It's a great family occasion. One of our happiest memories was sitting on a train and as it pulled into various stations watching Parents/Grandparents/Children/Grandchildren greeting each other.
Anyway I digress. Weather wise we seem to go alternate days of sun and miserable cloud. Today was the latter. Maybe this had something to do with the fact that even in a stir fry, I really struggled to swallow pieces of chicken. As I remarked at the time it's enough to turn me into a vegetarian. Seriously though I am advised that the problem with all meat is that it does not break up much when you chew it.
Otherwise it's been a fairly uneventful day. I hope tonight is better than last night where the old and all too familiar coughing problems returned. Fingers crossed.
