Days 196 and 197

Apologies Ladies and Gentlemen for getting out of sync. with this blog. We are slowly getting back to normal.

Yesterday I was able to book a guest to complete the line up for December's programmes on Angel Radio. Unlike the BBC, where you have Producers and Studio assistants to do a lot of the leg work for you, at Angel I have to do all the calls, research and music selections myself. It's great fun but time consuming.

Today(Monday) the wind blew again but with nothing like the intensity of Saturday. The dreary cough goes on and on though it does eem to get worse from about 7.00PM. It's difficult to know quite what to do except persevere. The GP told me he knew of nothing to contain the problem other than what I am already taking.

Positively I managed three fish fingers for my tea this evening without any alarms and excursions. We also had good family news. Daughter Andrea has passed her upgrade and is now on course to obtain her PHD next year. She bought a cake for us to celebrate this evening. Sadly I am off the booze just now. Otherwise a drink would have been appropriate.
