If you are still not sure well I can confirm computer is still on the blink. The bloke who was due to come and look at it yesterday didn't make it as he was held up by an urgent job he had to do in Newport. This sort of thing can happen but I do wish when it does people would ring rather than leave it to me to try and find out what is happening. He has promised to come today between 1 and 3 so we shall see what happens. What was particularly annoying about yesterday was that I finished my radio show early to get home and then nothing.
Yesterday and today were an early start for me. Martin and Andrea had to be away early so I went up to take the children to school. Emily and Adam were both models of good behaviour. Poor Emily is doing cross country today and it is both cold and wet. I think she will do it though since the event has been postponed twice once due to snow and ice and once when it poured down in torrents.
I have had a good week health wise. As stated before I do from time to time get a bit tired but if that means having a day time snooze so be it. Honestly the things you have to do to justify putting your feet up. I have only had one not so good night with the acid and bile so touch wood that is settling down.
I have on many occasions praised Joya Morris who leaves her post today. Ev and I wish her well. The good news is that the NHS Trust has appointed a replacement. With cut backs coming there was always a fear in my mind that the job is not strictly front line. However were this post to be lost it would be a false economy. Joya has fielded a lot of questions from worried patients and relatives which otherwise would have to go to Consultants who really don't have the time to spend doing this.
Finally and with apologies to those who have heard this before I end with a railway joke.
A woman(or man) goes to the train buffet car and orders a large Latte Coffee, a Cheese and Tomato Sandwich, a packet of crisps and a Kit Kat Chocolate Bar. When she comes to pay she says to the steward "I'm sorry I've only got a £20 note." The steward replies "you'd better put the Kit Kat back then."
More either when the computer is fixed or I can get back to the Library.
