Days 336 and 337

I really ought to blog at the end of the day. Shortly after blogging on Friday, I went for a lie down. Though I dropped off to sleep, I was woken with a mouthful of acid which made me cough quite violently. Fortunately I did recover well and enjoyed a delicious Chicken Maryland Gillian had cooked. After Harry went to bed we played a fiendishly clever card game which was both taxing and fun.

Saturday saw us watching the big match Chelsea at Manchester United. We then went to a local carvery for a meal. Unfortunately I didn't appreciate the size of portion when I ordered Pasta Carbonara. There is of course no shame in not being able to finish it but I guess it was a reminder that I can't eat as I used to.

Today we have been to the Easter Food and Drink Fair at Chester Racecourse. This is a marvellous location. Virtually all the produce sold is locally grown. I managed Hog Roast with some stuffing and it was absolutely delicious. We also got some stuff to eat at Tea Time.

The wintry weather just drags on. A cold wind meant we all had to wrap up well.

On a health note, the acid seems to have taken a turn for the better but I still have an irritating cough. Hopefully courtesy of medication that will disappear.

We are off to the Caravan tomorrow and hopefully my next blog entry will be on Wednesday.
