Days 543 to 549

The results of the latest chest xray are in. Once again they can find nothing untoward and the Doctor says xray shows symptoms are consistent with a chest infection. If it (a rattling cough) occurs again I should make another appointment to see the GP. The anti biotics I was given have once gain worked. The only slight concern I do have is having two chest infections in a matter of 6 weeks. This may of course be due to the fact that having had the illness the body resistance to germs and infections of one kind or another has weakened. Still at the moment I am feeling fine. My weight is remaining constant at 12 stone 12 with which the medics are happy.

Don't laugh but I have volunteered to take part in the Ryde Methodist Church Nativity Play. No I am not playing the back legs of the Donkey. I am Melchior one of the three kings. There are all of four lines to say so I am not as of yet on the luvvie circuit.

On Angel Radio last Thursday I had two guests. In the first hour Tony King had some entertaining stories about his life on the buses and in the second hour Emma Dixey previewed this season's concerts by the Isle of Wight Symphony Orchestra. I am having a two week break from the show and my guest on 9 December will be Janet Lack.

My next blog all being well will be next Sunday.
