Where is 2010 going? I only ask because the weeks seem to be rushing past ever more quickly.
In the last week I have had three acid night time attacks. There does not seem to be any pattern to it at all. I have already learned not to eat a meal too late but on some days a biscuit with a late cup of tea does no harm. On other days it clearly does. It may be this is something I have to learn to live with like so many other conditions. I am reluctant to go back to my GP in view of his comments about the cost of drugs. There is a national helpline which I may well contact to see if they can offer any advice. My weight by the way is unchanged from last week.
Otherwise the week has been dominated by the weather. For North American readers the snow, ice and temperatures are nothing new. However the average temperature in Britain for this time of the year is 10 degrees and when you have daytime temperatures of minus 2 or 3 and nightime as low minus 19 you can understand why things have been a bit chaotic.
Here on the Island we have got off fairly lightly. It started snowing on Wednesday Evening but overnight on Friday/Saturday it all but disappeared. It's till cold but the forecast is for it to get milder.
Fortunately I was away from Angel Radio on Thursday so missed having fun in trying to catch a bus.
That's all for this week. More hopefully on Monday.
