Today I went to see a specialist about the spots on my head. The first thing was finding my way round Ilkeston Hospital. The specialist was thorough. I have Actinic Keratoses. It is not an uncommon condition and in most cases it is benign. However if you leave it alone it can cause skin problems including cancer. The good Doctor has prescribed some skin cream which I shall need to take twice a day for the next 4 weeks or so. Whilst this is happening my face may look a bit blotchy but it will all end well. I have to go back to see the Guy again in April. In the meantime the pills for an enlarged prostate seem to be working. There is no sign of the condition that started this blog rearing its ugly head. Finally a word of support for our friend Simon whose condition is poor.
